Over the weekend, I have had numerous residents reach out to me about the blast from the Harrycroft Quarry in South Anston. The most recent blast shook homes and caused windows to rattle and residents report this is the most severe blast they have experienced since living there.

I have written to the council to seek answers about whether they are continuing to monitor the Quarry’s activities and to find out more information about the current regulations the Quarry is following to ensure that its activities remain compliant.
