DINNINGTON BANKING HUB

I recently visited the site for the new banking hub on Dinnington High Street.

This is going to be a fantastic local resource for residents. Many people were forced to travel to Sheffield just to do their banking which was not good enough. Each week, different high street banks will be operating from the hub ensuring people can now sort out their money closer to home. The location is superb and the works are ongoing, and expected to be completed by the end of the year, with an opening in January or February.

The hub will be holding a community event this autumn to explain how it works, and when each bank will be available for use in any given week. I am helping them organise this and will advertise it widely when we have a date and location.

This is a really exciting development for the high street – and will hopefully give a boost to local businesses. Thank you to all those who helped make it happen – including local councillors and my predecessor.
