On Friday 4th October, I met with Laura Koscikiewicz, District Commander for Rotherham and raised the issue of boy racers and dangerous driving on the A57. They are aware of the issue, but I remain concerned that the appropriate action is not being taken.
I have asked them, and they have agreed, to hold a community meeting so they can fully appreciate the scale of the problem and listen to the effect it has on residents’ lives. I’m grateful for them agreeing to this request – and expect it to be a catalyst for further meaningful action. Details will be published here and in the local community in due course.
