Last week, I visited Mixamate‘s site in Dinnington to see the manufacturing of volumetric concrete mixers (VCMs) for myself.

VCMs can make and pour any combination of concrete and produce no waste water or waste concrete, making them incredibly efficient. The success of VCMs sees Mixamate, who distribute for IHS, currently exporting to three different continents.

More recently, the site have just accepted an export order to Denmark worth half a million pound, which is brilliant news for Mixamate, manufacturing and employment in the local area.
