Following concerns over the standard of service and irregular Royal Mail deliveries across Aston, Kiveton Park and other pockets of the constituency served by Dinnington Delivery Office, I visited Royal Mail to ask questions.
They apologised for the service provided and admitted that the previous standard of service on the run up to Christmas fell below expectations. Royal Mail told me their service at Christmas was very stretched, due to increasing parcel deliveries and the period of extreme weather following into January.
Royal Mail assured me that routes have been revised and residents should notice an improvement in the service they receive moving forward. If you continue to notice problems with deliveries, please do get in touch by emailing jake.richards.mp@parliament.uk.
