Yesterday, I represented Dinnington and the surrounding areas in the public inquiry at the New York Stadium. The inquiry was held to decide whether a Compulsory Purchase Order should be granted to purchase the remainder of the land needed for the regeneration project.
I am thrilled that all objectors have withdrawn, meaning the CPO is likely to be granted. We just have to wait for this to be confirmed in September.
