Thank you to all the residents in Hellaby who joined me for a public meeting at Centenary Hall to discuss the planning application for 260 homes off Bateman Road, alongside other local issues.

I have made my position very clear and have formally objected to the development of this area of land for a number of reasons. Hellaby has experienced expansion in recent years, particularly with the recent addition of warehouses built on Cumwell Lane. The cumulative impact of these developments has significantly changed the local environment. Additional housing will lead to further traffic and congestion along Bawtry Road, Bateman Road, Clifford Road and Cumwell Lane. I also share the same concerns as residents surrounding the access point off Batemen Road alongside Centenary Hall onto the proposed site.
