Thank you to members of the British Coal Staff Superannuation Scheme (BCSSS) for attending the second of two meetings I’ve held alongside trustees James Grant and Bleddyn Hancock, and John Dunn, Chief Integrated Funding Officer.

This was a chance for BCSSS members to speak directly with the Scheme’s trustees to learn more about the current negotiations concerning the release of the Investment Reserve.

In total, over 100 members of the BCSSS attended meetings in Maltby and Dinnington this month. I will continue pushing the government to release the Investment Reserve.
