It was great to go down to the new McDonald’s at Dinnington, to meet the team and I even got to make my own Big Mac!

The new branch has already created nearly 90 new jobs for Dinnington residents, with more to come. It provides brilliant employment opportunities, especially for young people. Meeting the staff there was really useful – and I will be back over the coming weeks.

I raised concerns residents have about litter. The branch will do their own litter picks, and I’m going to join them too. The manager at the store has already reached out to community figures to begin organising this.

In the opening few days, it’s been really popular with locals – and is a huge improvement to the Monksbridge roundabout, as before this area was essentially just left as wasteland.
