I am receiving direct reports from the Yorkshire Water CEO, who tells me that the pump in Aughton is now working and that over the course of the day, the water supply should return. I’ve made it abundantly clear that the service we are getting is not acceptable. I will be following up on this.

My main priority now is to ensure that our vulnerable neighbours and friends are looked after. Please let me know if there is anyone with particular needs, and I will ensure they receive water bottles urgently.
