Wonderful to catch up with Maltby resident Shirley, who has spent more than 30 years campaigning for improved safety measures on Blyth Road, urging the council to lower the speed limit and keep drivers and pedestrians safer along this stretch of road.

Last week, she presented her petition to Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, highlighting the keen interest from members of the community for change on the road. Her dedication to this campaign is unwavering and I look forward to continuing my work with her on this.
