A Conversation on Assisted Dying

As many of you know, a Private Members’ Bill has been introduced, and will begin its journey through Parliament next week. The Bill proposes to legislate to ‘allow adults who are terminally ill, subject to safeguards and protections, to request and be provided with assistance to end their own life; and for connected purposes’.

The last online meeting I held on this was really powerful and allowed for both sides of the discussion to be explored. Many voiced their opinions, asked questions, and engaged in a meaningful conversation. To give as many people the opportunity to share their views, and to listen to others, I will be holding another online public meeting on Monday 25th November at 7pm.
