It was a privilege to attend the drop-in session held by Ambitious About Autism in Parliament last week. They are a wonderful charity dedicated to championing and empowering young autistic people so that they can fully realise their futures. It was a moving opportunity to hear about the work they do.

In Rother Valley, 28.8% of autistic pupils were persistently absent (missing 10% or more of school), which can significantly impact their learning, development, and future prospects.

Let’s continue to champion inclusion and make sure every young person, regardless of their needs, can achieve their full potential.
