Thank you to all the residents who came to my street surgery in Wickersley, with many residents raising their concerns about the proposed Exagen Solar Farm.

Many of you will have seen the plans to build a 49.9MW solar farm to the south-west of Wickersley, east of Whiston and north-west of Thurcroft, with a planning application due imminently.

Due to the sheer volume of solar farm applications in our local area, Rother Valley would be taking on a disproportionate amount of solar. Therefore, I cannot support the Exagen Solar Farm application when it comes.
