It was brilliant to bring together Laura and Mick from Kiveton Park and Wales CDT & Community Sports Park and Dan, Head of Community at Rotherham United Community Trust, to explore opportunities for collaboration between two fantastic community organisations.

KPWCDT are an outstanding charity playing a vital role in the social and economic regeneration of Kiveton Park and Wales. During the meeting, it was interesting to learn more about the work of Rotherham United Community Trust. At first, you may think their sole focus is football, but they are committed to supporting services focused on mental health, social prescribing, disability and SEND, youth work, schools, employment and so much more.

The meeting was really positive, with discussion around extending support for social groups and sporting provision in Kiveton Park and Wales with the support of RUCT. Lots of ideas were shared and I am positive it is the start of a very successful partnersh
