I recently met with volunteers at Kiveton Park Football Club, who do an incredible job organising countless teams in our area. They also have a pan disability team for boys and girls, one of only a few in the wider South Yorkshire area.
Following this meeting, I spoke in the House of Commons about the importance of local sports teams and in particular the need for accessible sporting provision for disabled people.
I am thrilled that the Minister for Sport has agreed to visit that team and watch them play a game over the coming months.
