Congratulations to Chris Windle, licensee of The Hay Nook in Maltby, for winning Franchisee of the Year at the pub industry’s nationally recognised Night of Excellence Awards.

This is a fantastic achievement and is testament to Chris’s hard work. Chris runs five pubs across Yorkshire, including The Droppingwell in Kimberworth.

I was thrilled to be able to join Chris and the team at The Hay Nook, alongside Dan Robinson, Managing Director at Greene King Pub Partners. It was a brilliant opportunity to talk about the success of the Hay Nook and the pub’s contributions to Maltby.

I was also lucky enough to pull a pint of Maltby Miners Pale Ale, which is available throughout the whole of September for £3!!
