I am really pleased that the Autumn Budget brings the announcement that members of the British Coal Staff Superannuation Scheme will receive the remaining money in the investment scheme.

This will mean an average increase of £100 per week for each pensioner who is part of the scheme – that’s hundreds of pensioners across Rother Valley.

This is a huge win for members living in coalfield communities like Rother Valley and it is great to see such a positive outcome on this matter.
