I want to praise Rotherham Council for their rapid response to my recent letter regarding potholes, which I know many have raised with me.

They are working hard to carry out repairs across the constituency, in recent times becoming one of the only local authorities to secure a green status for their work on fixing road surfaces.

I know the weather plays a huge role in the ability to carry out repairs, but also impacts the road surface too, and recent spells of bad weather have not helped matters.

Work will be continuing to fix the roads, supporting by additional funding from the Government.

As always, if there are any areas of concern, please do let me know so that the Council can log them as soon as possible.
