I had a wonderful time at the Dinnington Remembrance Festival on Sunday. It was a well-attended evening, with the Dinnington Colliery Band putting on a fantastic performance. They even let me join them at the interval!
It was a great spectacle watching the standards paraded into the Lyric and to see local cadet groups in attendance.
Though sombre in parts, it was also a very enjoyable evening – and great to see so many friends.
